ISU Student Club Offers Opportunity to Ride and Drive Latest Farm Equipment
AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's student run Agriculture Systems Technology Club will host a ride-and-drive field day on Friday, Nov. 12, for farmers and others interested in trying out some of the latest tractors, tillage equipment, and auto-steering equipment from major farm machinery manufacturers.
Hands-on demonstrations will be offered from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. A program starts at 11 a.m. and lunch will be served from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The event will demonstrate equipment from several major manufacturers, including AGCO, Case IH New Holland, John Deere, Krause, Caterpillar, McCormick, Raven and Auto-Farm.
The ride-and-drive field day will be on the Bill Couser farm, located four miles north of Nevada, Iowa, on County Road S14, and one-half mile west of S14 on County Road E29.
