DNR Certification and CEUs Available at Midwest Composting School 2004
AMES, Iowa - Department of Natural Resources (DNR) certification and continuing education credits will be offered at the Midwest Composting School 2004, which will be held June 8-10 at the Iowa State University (ISU) Field Extension Education Laboratory (FEEL) near Ames, Iowa.
After successfully completing the school, participants will meet the requirements for Iowa DNR certification. Continuing education credits will also be provided after completion.

Participants interested in composting will have an opportunity to learn more about handling challenging feedstocks, matching feedstocks with technology options, quality control, certification standards, DNR regulations, and more about what process variables make composting a success.
The three-day school is sponsored by Iowa State University Extension and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. The cost is $350 for registrations received or postmarked by May 24. Cost for those registering after May 24 is $400. No registrations will be accepted after June 3.
