4-H Center Welcomes Campers of All Ages
MADRID, Iowa -- Camping at the Iowa 4-H Center has always been for kids--and kids at heart. Several camps offered this summer continue the tradition.
"Camp is a great place for youth to grow and develop life skills. These camps go a step further, offering adults the opportunity to join in the fun and spend some quality time with their campers," Traci Stephens, Iowa 4-H Center program specialist, said.
Camps such as Bring A Big Person August 1-3 give young campers quality time with adults and let them participate in other activities such as swimming, hiking, making camp crafts, canoeing, and campfires. This camp is for children age 6 to 11 with adults over 18.
