ISU Agronomy Extension Offers Weed Science Field Day

Iowa State University (ISU) Extension is sponsoring a Weed Science Field Day at the ISU Curtiss Farm, June 24. This event will offer an opportunity to review experiments and demonstrations of new herbicide technology, application tactics and adjuvants.

The field day will start at 8:30 a.m. with remarks from Micheal D.K. Owen, ISU Extension weed scientist, and then the plots will be open for self-guided tours. There is a $10 fee to cover refreshments and the plotbook. There is no pre-registration.

The reach the Curtiss Farm, take Elwood Drive south of Highway 30 to Oakwood Road. Turn west onto Oakwood Road and take it to State Street. Turn right onto State Street and head north. The farm will be on the west side of the road.
