Beef Cow-Calf Workshop January 21 in Union
IOWA FALLS, Iowa -- A beef cow-calf workshop will be held at the South Hardin Rec Center in Union, Jan. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The workshop will focus on winter beef feeding strategies, bull selection, and HerdWorks. Beef producers can bring their forage and feed analysis to the workshop for a specific ration analysis.
Presenters include Dr. Daryl Strohbehn, ISU Extension beef specialist; Greg Wood, HerdWorks(R) Area Representative; and Russ Euken, Extension livestock specialist. The cost of the workshop is $10 and includes all materials and lunch. Pre-registration is required.
