Variety of 4-H Camps Offered to Youth

What do canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, canoe rides and water balloons have in common? …Yeah water…and all these awesome water sports are part of the many summer camps awaiting you at the Iowa 4-H Camping Center. Grab your friends--and a wet-suit--and head to the camp's Olympic size swimming pool … join in the summer fun of an Iowa 4-H youth camp. Registrations are due May 15. Call your local ISU Extension office for more details.
Traditional camps 0:25
Everything from canoeing to archery and swimming await youth ages six to 16 at the Iowa 4-H Camping Center youth camps this summer. Youth need not be 4-H members to attend these fun-filled camps. They just have to be ready to splash in a creek, stay up late to look at the stars, or just be ready to meet new friends. Get details about the more than 20 camps available from your local ISU Extension office. Reduced fee registrations continue through May 15.
Everything and the Un-Camp 0:25
Take a break from your summer routine … head for a week long adventure full of pool time, pizza nights, team challenges, games and star gazing. Youth ages six to 16 can join the Iowa 4-H Camping Center staff for one of 20 great summer camps. But hurry … spaces are filling fast … reduced registrations end May 15.
