Iowa Beef Center Offers Two New Web Site Features
The Iowa Beef Center recently added two new items to its informative and interactive Web site, aimed at helping producers make educated decisions in today's competitive beef industry.
New Limit Feeding Spreadsheet Released
The Iowa Beef Center last week released a new Limit Feed Intake Calculator
aimed at assisting producers with limit fed rations. The calculator evaluates
the impact a slight restriction in feed intake has on the feed yard and
carcass performance of cattle. The Limit Feed Intake Calculator can be

Fed Market Cow Publication Offered
The Iowa Beef Center recently published a summary of the Iowa Quality
Market Cow Project (IBC-26), a feeding demonstration designed to examine
whether a high-energy feeding program would achieve "white fat"
status in culled market cows. IBC-25, Iowa Quality Market Cow Project,
