1/30/03 Contacts: 2002 Swine Research Reports Now Available AMES, Iowa -- The 2002 Swine Research Report from Iowa State University is now available. The report features articles based on research done in 2002 in these five categories: teaching, nutrition, breeding/physiology, management/economics and food safety. Topics range from the effect of dietary trace minerals on mineral excretion to pork production costs when using non-subtherapeutic antibiotics. People may purchase a CD-ROM that contains the entire 2002 Swine Research Report, along with reports from 1998-2001. Cost of the CD-ROM is $10, which includes a printed report summary. As in the past, Internet users can access the new report at no charge through the Iowa Pork Industry Center Web site.
