Winter Sheep ICN Programs Offered

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa sheep producers are invited to attend the first of four sheep programs delivered via the Iowa Communications Network (ICN) on Monday, Nov. 4, from 7 to 10 p.m.

The evening's featured program is "My Perspective of New Zealand: Where and how we can compete," a presentation by Bob Kimm, a Dysart, Iowa sheep producer who has studied the New Zealand sheep industry. Additionally, the Iowa Sheep Industry Association will conduct its annual meeting as part of the program.

Future programs are set for Dec. 2, Dec. 16 and Jan. 6. The Winter Sheep ICN programs are sponsored by the Iowa Sheep and Wool Promotion Board and Iowa State University (ISU) Extension.

Many ICN locations have changed this year, so attendees need to contact their local ISU Extension county office for address of the closest ICN site. Advance registration is not required but there is a $5 fee per person.
