6/12/02 Contacts: Guthrie County Family Plays Host To 4-H'er from Austria AMES, Iowa -- Josef Haidwagner, a student from Austria, will visit Guthrie Center from July 15 through Aug. 3 as a part of the International 4-H Youth Exchange (IFYE) Representative program. Haidwagner will stay with Bryan and Teresa Mowrer and their two children Kyle, 17, and Beth, 20. Haidwagner, 26, will arrive in Iowa June 25 and will visit three families until his departure Aug. 3. He will also stay with families in Wright and Story counties. IFYE program participants visit the United States from Europe, Latin
America, Australia, Asia and Africa to live and work with several host
families for three to six months. Participants take part in the host families'
daily lives and interact with host organizations, which are similar to
