ISU Extension Offers Crop Advantage Series
AMES, Iowa -- Crop producers and agribusiness personnel are invited to
the Iowa State University (ISU) Extension Crop Advantage Series. This
series will be offered at the sites listed below and focuses on how 2001
crop problems will influence pest management and other decisions in 2002,
as well as the latest integrated crop management technology.
The two featured speakers for the conference are Mike Duffy, ISU Extension
Economist, addressing "The New Farm Bill and the Changing Structure
of Agriculture;" and Elwynn Taylor, ISU Extension Climatologist,
talking about "Managing Weather Risk for Production and Marketing
." In addition, participants will have the opportunity to attend
a number of additional workshops, which vary by location.
