11/14//01 Contacts: Delaware County 4-H'er Participated in Canadian 4-H Conference Daniel Kunde of Delaware County was selected as one of six delegates representing the United States at the Canadian 4-H Conference Oct. 31 through Nov 4. Kunde is son of David and Donna Kunde of Manchester. U.S. delegates to the Canadian 4-H Conference were selected by applying to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. They were chosen for their leadership and achievement in the 4-H program. Canada's 4-H Conference is an annual event similar to the National 4-H Conference held in the United States. Delegates participated in one of six issues work groups, took part in a visioning workshop and attended the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair. Kunde, a nine-year 4-H member, served on county 4-H youth councils and the Delaware County 4-H Youth Committee. He also participated in the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference, state judging and the National 4-H Dairy Conference. Kunde has completed several projects including dairy and photography. "4-H has taught me to be a better person all around," said
