1/23/01 Contacts: Greene County's Alliger Serves on National 4-H Congress Design Team Greene County 4-H member Henry Alliger recently participated in a meeting of the 2001 National 4-H Congress Design Team in Atlanta, Ga. He was one of seven 4-H members from across the nation selected to attend the Jan. 19 to 21 meeting. The team, which also includes 4-H volunteers and Extension staff, will shape plans for the 2001 National 4-H Congress. Alliger, a nine-year 4-H member, was an Iowa delegate to the 2000 National 4-H Congress in November. He has served on the county 4-H council and participated in Citizenship Washington Focus and the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference. He also has held the office of president in his local 4-H club for four years. A senior at Jefferson-Scranton High School, Alliger is the son of Steve and Jean Alliger of Paton. |
