4-H Seeking Volunteers for the Iowa State Fair
AMES, Iowa - If you love 4-H and the Iowa State Fair, consider volunteering at the 2001 state fair. 4-H is currently accepting applications through June 1 for a variety of volunteer and paid positions at the fair, Aug. 9 through 19. Volunteers must be 12 or older and can volunteer for a few days or the entire fair. Some positions are available before the fair begins. Volunteers are needed in all areas, from media assistants to exhibit hosts. For more information or to apply for a paid or volunteer position, contact your local Iowa State University Extension office.
