ICN Program to Look at Hoop Structure Research and Production Contracts
AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa Pork Industry Center at Iowa State University (ISU) invites pork producers to an Iowa Communications Network (ICN) program featuring information on the Iowa attorney general's production contract web site and the latest ISU hoop structure research. The program will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26.
Assistant Iowa Attorneys General Steve Moline and Steve Reno will present information and examples of production contracts from their web site. Both work in the farm division of the office of the attorney general. Don Lay and Mike Larson will describe ISU hoop building research and the latest results.
John Lawrence, ISU Extension livestock economist, will provide a look at the Sept. 22 USDA Hogs and Pigs Report including possible trends and significance of the numbers in the report.
The program will run from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and originates from the Iowa State University campus.
