What Would Your Children Do?

Your six-year-old is playing with a kitten on the farm. What would your child do if the kitten crawls under a fence and into a livestock pen? Would your child not think about the danger and follow the kitten?

A new book from Iowa State University Extension helps parents talk about farm dangers with their children &endash; BEFORE something happens. The book is called "What Would You Do?" and gives parents a way to discuss common farm dangers, make family rules and keep everyone safe.

Call your county extension office today for a copy of the "What Would You Do?" book. This message is brought to you by Iowa State University Extension's Safe Farm program, helping to make Iowa farms a safer place to live and work.
