10/31/00 Contact: Iowa Forage Conference Addresses Management Issues AMES, Iowa -- Forage producers who want to get more from their acres and become better forage managers should attend the Iowa Forage Conference Nov. 20- 21 at the Vermeer Global Pavilion in Pella, Iowa. Sponsored by the Iowa Forage and Grasslands Council, the Iowa Beef Center, the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, Vermeer Corp. and Iowa State University Extension, this conference will focus on an array of important issues in forage production and grazing management today. Several industry experts, including producers, extension staff and university researchers, will be on hand to discuss forage production, grazing management and hay harvesting techniques.
