Pork Producers Invited to March 30 ICN Program
AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa Pork Industry Center (IPIC) at Iowa State University invites pork producers to a Thursday, March 30, 2000, Iowa Communications Network (ICN) program featuring information on the 1999 Swine Business Records results.
ISU Extension swine specialist Tom Baas of IPIC will present a summary of the 1999 Swine Business Records, including average figures from various segments of the industry. New IPIC director John Mabry will introduce himself and share his vision of IPIC and its role within the pork industry. ISU economist John Lawrence will present a video update on the March 24 USDA Hogs and Pigs Report and Alan Vontalge will be available to answer questions. Time for discussion will be provided.
The program will run from 8-9:30 p.m. and originates from the Iowa State University campus.
