New 4-H Judges Needed
More people are needed to judge 4-H exhibits at county and state fairs. People with an interest in youth and fairs, are encouraged to attend a 4-H judges training workshop March 4 in Algona, Boone, Cherokee, Creston, Iowa City, New Hampton and Ottumwa.
Participants can attend three sessions. Topics will include ag and natural resources, child development, clothing, home improvement, horticulture, pets, photography and visual art. There will also be a special session for new judges.
Registration for the all-day meeting is due Feb. 1 to the State 4-H Youth Development Office. Call your county extension office for topics and registration information.
