Pork Producers Invited to April 6 ICN

AMES, Iowa -- The Iowa Pork Industry Center (IPIC) invites pork producers to an April 6 Iowa Communications Network (ICN) program featuring information on market trends, the world pork export outlook and a summary of the 1998 Iowa Swine Business Record results. The program will run from 7:30-9:30 p.m. and originates from the Iowa State University campus.

Tom Baas of IPIC will summarize results from the 1998 Iowa Swine Business Records, and Dermot Hayes, Iowa State University agricultural economist, will provide a view of the world pork outlook, including export market potential.
