Petersen joins Iowa Beef Center as communications specialist
AMES, Iowa &endash; Tracy S. Petersen has joined the Iowa Beef Center at Iowa State University as communications specialist.
Petersen previously worked as a freelance writer and editor and as an editor in the Department of Agricultural Communication at Purdue University.
"The communications specialist role is essential to getting the work we do to the people who use it, such as Iowa producers and allied industries," said John Lawrence, director of the Iowa Beef Center.
The Iowa Beef Center conducts applied research and educational efforts to enhance the vitality, profitability and growth of the beef industry in Iowa. The center works in the areas of production, food safety, marketing and management.
