Judges Training Workshop
More people are needed to judge 4-H exhibits at county and state fairs. So people with an interest in youth and fairs are encouraged to attend a 4-H judges training workshop March 6 in Ames, Britt, Lewis, Ottumwa, Williamsburg and Storm Lake. Fayette will be the site March 13.
Participants can attend three sessions. Topics are communication, consumer and management, food and nutrition, mechanics and engineering, personal development, science and technology, visual art and woodworking.
Registration for the all-day meeting is due Feb. 10 to the State 4-H Youth Development Office. Call your county extension office for topics and registration information.
