Morrical has extensive knowledge of sheep nutrition. He is the principal researcher with the McNay Research flock located at Charition, Iowa. Specific topics on nutrition will include getting lambs started on creep, understanding vitamin E and selenium requirements, low cost ewe feeding and determining nutrient requirements. The January Sheep ICN presentation was attended by more than 250 producers at 24 sites. "Joe Rook did an excellent job covering various aspects of sheep health and lamb losses," according to Morrical. "Producer interest was demonstrated by the number who attended."
