Next Sheep ICN Program is Jan. 11
AMES, Iowa -- The third program in the 1999-2000 Winter Sheep Iowa Communications Network (ICN) series will be presented on Jan. 11 from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Two presentations are scheduled for this session. Leo Timms, extension dairy specialist, will discuss Mastitis Prevention and Treatment. The second presentation is Feeding Lambs from Birth to Harvest, by Dan Morrical, extension sheep specialist.
Producers should contact local extension offices for sites in their area. Twenty-five sites in all areas of the state are scheduled to carry the program. More than 200 sheep producers attended the second program in the series on Dec. 14. The ICN Sheep Series is co-sponsored by Iowa Sheep and Wool Promotion Board.
