Herb Plambeck Book Signing at the Iowa State Fair
AMES, Iowa -- Writer and farm broadcaster Herb Plambeck will be signing two of his limited-edition books during the Iowa State Fair in the 4-H Exhibit Building on Aug. 16, 18 and 20 from 3-4 p.m.
Plambeck's books, "The Way It Was" and "Never a Dull Moment," have been revised to include an introductory section about the history and impact of the 4-H youth organization in Iowa. The section commemorates the Iowa 4-H Foundation's 50th anniversary being celebrated in 1999-2000.
The books will be available in the Iowa 4-H Foundation booth for $20 each or $30 a set.
