11/16/98 Contacts: Sheep ICN off to Fast Start AMES, Iowa -- More than 185 producers and ISU Extension staff attended the Nov. 3 sheep Iowa Communications Network (ICN) program featuring Kreg Leymaster from the USDA Meat Animal Research Center. Specific areas to be discussed will be breeding season management, estrous synchronization, artificial insemination and embryo transfer. The session on Dec. 8 will begin at 7 p.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m. People interested in attending should contact the local ISU Extension county office for an ICN site close to them. This program is supported by the Iowa Sheep and Wool Promotion Board and ISU Extension. For more information, contact Dan Morrical at (515) 294-0847 or morrical@iastate.edu. ml: isufarm |
