First Tech Corps Starts
The new Iowa Youth Technology Corps needs teens with interests in art, computers, web page design, photography, presentations, video and animation.
Tech corps members will gain leadership skills, learn marketable technology skills, develop a community service project using technology, experience cutting edge technology at Iowa State University including virtual reality, help develop technology training and be a delegate to the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Applicants need easy access to a computer, the Internet and e-mail. High school freshmen, sophomores and juniors are invited to apply.
To apply to be on the first Iowa Youth Technology Corps, ask for a IYTC brochure and application information at the ISU Extension office in your county.
