“4-H has affected every part of my life. I’m involved in all of my current collegiate activities because of passions started through 4-H,” Determan said.  "It has helped me grow as a person and my experiences as a senior member in 4-H have influenced my decision to become a teacher.”

Determan is a junior at Iowa State University majoring in agriculture and life sciences education. Her activities include Colleges Against Cancer and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
