Converting CRP Grassland to Crop Production and Pasture

AMES, Iowa -- Converting CRP grassland to crop production and pasture is the focus of a Heartland Regional Water Coordination Initiative webcast on Sept. 15 from 10 - 11:45 a.m. The session will feature four speakers and an opportunity for Web participants to submit questions during the session.
Topics and speakers include: Converting CRP to Corn and Soybean Rotations – Charles Shapiro, University of Nebraska; Converting CRP to Wheat and Grain Sorghum in Dry Regions – Alan Schlegel, Kansas State University; Converting CRP to Pasture Production – Bruce Anderson, University of Nebraska; and Converting CRP with No-till Methods – Mark Carlton, Iowa State University.
