AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University Extension offers Money Talk, a financial education program targeted to women. It will be offered Oct. 5 – Nov. 6 both online and as a home-study course.

The five sessions will cover financial basics, insurance, investing, retirement planning, and planning for life events. Participants may enroll for the web-based or by-mail course. The cost of $75 includes the 190-page Money Talk workbook.

“You will learn financial terminology and money management skills to become a more informed consumer,” said Cindy Needles Fletcher, an ISU Extension family resource management specialist.
