AMES, Iowa – A $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to a Tama County 4-H member. Taylor Petersen, Gladbrook, has received an Iowa State Fair 4-H Scholarship sponsored by the Iowa Foundation for Agriculture Advancement.

Petersen, a nine-year member, is the daughter of William and Crystal Petersen. At the county level she has been a member of the champion livestock judging team and received the American Youth Foundation and Danforth awards.
