Cass County 4-H'er Earns Music Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Curtis Ullerich of Cass County received a state 4-H music project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Ullerich, 17, is the son of Chris and Gwen Ullerich of Wiota.
During his nine years in 4-H, Ullerich has participated in the music, horse, visual arts, food and nutrition and communication project areas. He has been awarded at the Iowa State Fair for an outstanding visual arts project and has been recognized as high point senior horse showman and received the top county treasurer’s book and top Share the Fun skit awards. A county, area and state 4-H council member, Ullerich has attended the National 4-H Congress and Iowa 4-H Youth Conference and served as president, vice president and treasurer of his 4-H club.
Ullerich is a senior at Atlantic High School.
