Cass County 4-H'er Earns Leadership Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Drew Ladd of Cass County received a state 4-H leadership project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Ladd, 18, is the son of Alan and Christy Ladd of Atlantic.
During 11 years in 4-H, Ladd has completed several major projects including leadership, photography, food and nutrition, and clothing. He has received project awards for clothing, photography, and food and nutrition. He also has served as president and secretary of his local 4-H club and on the county 4-H council, area 4-H council, state 4-H council, and county youth committee and participated in National 4-H Congress, the Citizenship-Washington Focus and the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Ladd is a freshman at Kansas State University.
