Linn County 4-H'er Earns Automotive Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Joe Grimley of Linn County received a state 4-H automotive project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Grimley, 17, is the son of Jeff and Lee Ann Grimley of Springville.
During 10 years in 4-H, Grimley has completed several major projects including automotive, aerospace, crop production and welding. He has been awarded for aerospace, crop production and automotive projects. He has served as historian for his local 4-H club and was a member of the county 4-H council.
Grimley is a student at Springville High School.
