Humboldt County 4-H'er Earns Beef Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Jackie Bleich of Humboldt County received a state 4-H beef project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Bleich, 16, is the daughter of Les and Teresa Bleich of Humboldt.
A nine-year 4-H member, she is involved in the beef, animal science, veterinarian science, food and nutrition and home improvement project areas. At the county level, Bleich has received outstanding record book, outstanding communications and outstanding club member awards while serving as club president, treasurer, historian and photographer. She has also been a member of the county, area and state 4-H Council and attended the Citizenship-Washington Focus and Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Bleich is a junior at Humboldt High School.
