Worth County 4-H'er Earns Dairy Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Michelle Medlang of Worth County received a state 4-H dairy project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Medlang, 17, is the daughter of Charles and Linda Medlang of Kensett.
During nine years in 4-H, Medlang has completed several major projects including dairy, horse, photography, and food and nutrition. She has received dairy project awards at the state level. She served as treasurer and president of her local 4-H group and served on the county 4-H council, state 4-H council and the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
Medlang is a senior at Northwood-Kensett High School.
