Buena Vista County 4-H'er Earns Dairy Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Stacie Glienke of Buena Vista County received a state 4-H dairy project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Glienke, 16, is the daughter of Brian and Cindy Glinke of Aurelia.
An eight-year member, Glienke has been involved in the dairy, food and nutrition, home improvement and personal development project areas. At the local level she has received the senior merit award, Rafa Worthan Memorial award, senior dairy award and intermediate merit and achievement award while serving as vice president, secretary and treasurer of her club. Glienke has also participated in county 4-H council, the Iowa 4-H conference and Citizenship-Washington Focus.
She is a junior at Aurelia High School.
