Jones County 4-H'er Earns Citizenship Project Award
AMES, Iowa – Aubrey Burmeister of Jones County received a state 4-H citizenship project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Burmeister, 17, is the daughter of Scott and Crystal Burmeister of Oxford Junction.
An eight-year 4-H member, she has participated in and received county project awards in the citizenship, photography, food and nutrition, woodworking and clothing areas. She has served as president, vice president, reporter, secretary, treasurer, historian and photographer of her 4-H club and on her county 4-H council and county youth committee. Burmeister is a senior at Midland Community High School.
