AMES, Iowa -- The latest Iowa Crops and Weather report indicates 50 percent of the corn and soybean crops are in good to excellent condition as of Sunday, June 22, 2008.
Iowa State University Extension climatologist Elwynn Taylor, program specialist Rich Pope and entomologist Ken Holscher discuss this report and the aftermath of the floods and excessive rainfall that has delayed the growing season for Iowa farmers.
