David Swenson on economic impact of floods -- Iowa State University scientist in the Department of Economics David Swenson says the recent floods will have significant economic impact on Iowa and Iowans. (Three interviews, approximately 4 minutes each)

Alison Robertson on plant diseases -- ISU Extension plant pathologist Alison Robertson says with flooded and saturated farm fields, Iowa farmers need to be watchful of plant diseases as the state begins to dry out. (Two interviews, approximately 4 minutes each)

William Edwards on crop insurance – ISU Extension economist William Edwards says it has been a tough spring for farmers in Iowa. Many fields that didn’t get planted or require replanting may be eligible for crop insurance. (Three interviews, approximately 4 minutes each)

Roger Elmore on corn replanting decisions -- ISU Extension corn agronomist Roger Elmore discusses the problems facing corn producers as they attempt to make the decision to re-plant their crops flooded by recent heavy rain in Iowa. (Three interviews, approximately 4 minutes each)

Cindy Haynes on protecting your garden investment -- ISU Extension horticulturist Cindy Haynes says the floods and extremely wet weather in Iowa has caused lawns and gardens to be saturated. She offers some tips on protecting your investment. (Time 4:10)

Ryan Rusk on the situation in northwest Iowa -- The Northwest Research and Demonstration Farm is located near Sutherland, Iowa. Superintendent Ryan Rusk says the spring has been wet, but northwest Iowa has not had the massive rains and floods that have caused so much damage in Iowa. (Time 2:57)
