AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University Extension climatologist Elwynn Taylor, program specialist Rich Pope and corn agronomist Roger Elmore discuss the latest Iowa Crops and Weather Report, as of Sunday, July 13.

Taylor says the forecast is for near normal weather for the rest of July.

Pope discusses the need for crop scouting for disease issues.

Elmore analyzes where the corn crop is in terms of degree days and the need for good weather and a late frost.
