1/29/2008
AMES, Iowa-- Hold that pose! The fourth annual Photography Camp is set for this summer at the Iowa 4-H Center near Madrid.
Promising photographers in grades 7-12 can attend the camp June 18-20, 2008, and learn to capture photos while having fun and making friends. Camps at the Iowa 4-H Center do not require membership in 4-H.
Photography campers will experience three jam-packed days learning new photography techniques using digital technology while also discovering the secrets and thrills of shooting a ghost photograph.
Campers also will have the chance to attend workshops focused on how to creatively capture still life, portraits and landscape photographs. They will discover how to make a photo eye-catching and distinctive using the rule of thirds and other composition ideas.
The cost of the three-day camp will be $150, which includes air-conditioned lodging and all meals. Campers will need to bring: a camera, cable shutter release, film or digital card for camera, batteries and a tripod (if available).
