Cass County 4-H Member Receives Orscheln Scholarship
AMES, Iowa – A $1,000 scholarship has been awarded to a Cass County 4-H member. Emily Ullerich received an Orscheln 4-H Scholarship sponsored by Orscheln Farm and Home Supply Co. Inc.
Ullerich, a nine-year 4-H member, is the daughter of Chris and Gwen Ullerich. She has participated in horse, food and nutrition, horticulture, clothing and veterinary science, earning numerous blue ribbons at the Iowa State Fair. She has received record book awards and the decorator’s showcase top of division award at the local level. A member of her county 4-H council, county youth committee and area 4-H council, Ullerich also has attended the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.
A recent Atlantic High School graduate, Ullerich plans to attend Iowa State University, majoring in animal science and agricultural business.
