Marion County 4-H Member Receives Theisen Scholarship


AMES, Iowa – A $500 scholarship has been awarded to a Marion County 4-H member. Tyler Knight, Pella, received a Theisen 4-H Scholarship sponsored by Theisen Supply Inc.


Knight, an eight-year 4-H member, is the son of Dan and Jodi Knight. He has participated in horticulture, woodworking, poultry, dogs and photography where he has won best of show at the local-level and blue ribbons at the Iowa State Fair. He has also served as president of his 4-H club.


A recent Pella High School graduate, Knight plans to attend Southwestern Community College and pursue agricultural studies.
