Elwynn Taylor on weather conditions during planting -- The ISU Extension climatologist says weather conditions during the planting season will be mostly wet, but breaks in the weather may give farmers some time to get started planting. Soil temperatures will be a critical factor.

Mike Duffy on land values -- The 81st Annual Soil Management and Land Valuation Conference will be May 21, 2008. Mike Duffy, an ISU Extension economist, says he expects land values to be a big topic of discussion.

Ron Cox on manufacturing -- The director of ISU Extension’s Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS) takes a look at the PMI, an index on the health of the nation’s manufacturing sector.

ISU’s sesquicentennial -- The year-long celebration of Iowa State University’s sesquicentennial came to a close Saturday, April 12, 2008.
