Johnson County 4-H’er Earns Photography Project Award



AMES, Iowa – Peter Kasper of Johnson County received a state 4-H photography project award that includes a $100 savings bond from the Mary Jo and Glen Mente Endowment and the Iowa 4-H Foundation. Kasper, 18, is the son of Teresa Kasper and the late Gene Kasper of Tiffin.


During his nine years in 4-H, Kasper has completed several major projects including photography, woodworking, sewing, swine and bottle-bucket calf. He has received a state 4-H project award in woodworking. He also has been the president, vice president and secretary of his 4-H club. Kasper has served on his county 4-H council and participated in the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference.


“4-H has given me the opportunity to grow and help others develop life long skills,” said Kasper.


Kasper is a freshman at Iowa State University.
