Plymouth County 4-H Member Receives Stratton 4-H Scholarship
AMES, Iowa-- A $500 scholarship has been awarded to a Plymouth County 4-H member. Paige Schoeberl, Kingsley, has received the Stratton 4-H Scholarship sponsored by the Stratton family and Stratton Memorial.
Schoeberl, a nine-year member, is the daughter of Brian and Kris Schoeberl. She has been active in breeding beef, market beef, market swine and photography project areas. Schoeberl has served as president and vice-president of her 4-H club and has received awards for her heifers at county fairs and AK-SAR-BEN. In school, she is involved in National Honor Society, Letterman's Club and FFA. Schoeberl also has served on several FFA judging teams for multiple years and is active in a number of sports.
"4-H has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember," Schoeberl said. "Showing cattle for nine years through 4-H has not only taught me about cattle business but has helped me to make lifelong acquaintances."
Schoeberl is currently a senior at Kingsley-Pierson Community High School and plans to attend Iowa State University to major in animal science.
