Ohrt has received the I Dare You Award and has been the president, vice president and secretary of her 4-H club. She also has served on county and area 4-H councils and county youth committee. In school, Ohrt is active in FFA, National Honor Society and several sports.

"The impact of my 4-H participation has been great," Ohrt said. "The career I'm pursuing has been influenced by my experiences with my horse and pony projects I've had for the past eight years."

Ohrt is currently a senior at Nashua Plainfield High School and plans to attend Kirkwood Community College to be a veterinarian technician.
