AMES, Iowa – A $500 scholarship has been awarded to a Delaware County 4-H member. Callie Kronlage, Dyersville, received an Alumni 4-H Scholarship sponsored by 4-H Alumni contributions to the Iowa 4-H Foundation Scholarship Fund.
Kronlage, a nine-year 4-H member, is the daughter of Dave and Sherry Kronlage. She has served as president, vice president and secretary of her 4-H club. Kronlage has participated most actively in the communications, food and nutrition, photography, clothing and home improvement project areas. She participated in County Youth Committee, Citizenship – Washington Focus and the Iowa 4-H Youth Conference. Kronlage was selected to represent her school at the 2006 Governor’s Scholar Recognition Program.
"4-H is an organization where I can share my talents with others; 4-H has taught me important life lessons that I can use in everyday life," Kronlage said. "Through the past eight years I’ve tried to be a dedicated leader for my club and my county whenever I had the opportunity."
