Anderson to Fill Extension Position March 1

AMES, Iowa-- Michael C. Anderson, a graduate of Iowa State University, will be filling the 4-H Ag Programs coordinator position at ISU Extension beginning March 1.
Anderson's duties will include providing leadership and support for Iowa 4-H Agriculture programming and educational events and serving as the Iowa State Fair General 4-H Livestock Superintendent and Iowa's 4-H representative for the AK-SAR-BEN Livestock Exposition.
Before coming to ISU Extension, Anderson owned a beef ultrasound business in Ames and most recently was a 4-H youth educator at Purdue Cooperative Extension in Greensburg, Ind. Anderson received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science from Iowa State.
Chuck Morris, director of 4-H Youth Development at Iowa State University Extension, said, "Mike was a Hancock County 4-H'er with a strong background in livestock and leadership experiences. ISU Extension is happy to welcome Mike back to Iowa."
